SHINE Sunday School

SHINE is for primary school aged children and runs every Sunday during term time, except the first Sunday of each month when we have our All Age Services.

At SHINE children engage with scripture and prayer through reading, writing, games, arts and crafts, prayer time and singing. 

We use a short and accessible Bible reading as our focus for each week and then explore what it might mean for us.  There is plenty of opportunity for discussion and we love to hear the children’s thoughts and opinions. 

SHINE leaders and helpers are all DBS checked and also attend training and events to help them in their role.  When your child joins SHINE we will ask you to complete a short registration form.

We would love to welcome all children to our friendly group.  If your child has any special needs please do speak to our leaders about how we can best support them.

With a wide range of ages SHINE can sometimes feel like a family event.  The children develop good relationships with each other as well as leaders.  Last summer we held a SHINE day trip up to Greenwich Park and a fine time was had by all!

At SHINE we aim to have fun, learn together and SHINE with the light of Christ.
