Baptisms

We at St George's are delighted to hear that you have recently been blessed by the birth of your child.  We look forward to and welcome parents and Godparents/Sponsors to bring their child/ren for a baptism.

The parents of the children to be baptised attend a short course.  This explores the meaning of baptism and the promises they will make during the service.

As a church, we encourage families to be coming along regularly to church before discussing the opportunity of a Baptism.  If you are not already coming regularly to St George’s, we would encourage you to do so and please do make yourself known to us.
